　　123B.26 Judgment paid by treasurer.

　　Except as provided in this section, no execution shall

　　issue upon any judgment against a district for the recovery of

　　money. Unless the judgment is stayed by appeal, the treasurer

　　shall pay such judgment, upon presentation of a certified copy

　　of the judgment, if the district has sufficient money not

　　otherwise appropriated. A treasurer who fails to pay the

　　judgment shall be personally liable for the amount, unless the

　　collection is stayed afterwards.
